• Will you insure drivers under 25? No in order to maintain realistic premiums we cannot ordinarily provide cover for young drivers.
• Will you insure a driver who uses a two way radio system? We specialise in insuring professional chauffeurs and avoid taxis or minicabs which use 2 way radios
• What use am I covered for? – Social, Domestic & Pleasure & use for the carriage of passengers for hire & reward – this is also referred to as Private Hire or Chauffeur Hire and will include weddings & special occasions as well as traditional chauffeur work. It does not provide cover for Public Hire.
• Am I covered to operate abroad? – Policies usually provide cover for social, domestic & pleasure use whilst travelling abroad free of change subject to being advised. If cover is required for hire & reward Insurers must be notified and would be subject to details and an additional premium.
• Am I insured to drive other vehicles not specified on the policy? No – Private Hire Policies do not provide cover for driving other vehicles.
